OUR COMMITMENT
O My Bag is committed to respecting and promoting human rights throughout our operations and across our value chain. We believe that all people involved in the making of our products should be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
Our approach is guided by internationally recognised standards, including:
- the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights,
- the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and
- the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
Respect for human rights is a fundamental part of how we operate and how we build long-term relationships with the people and communities connected to O My Bag.
SCOPE
This policy applies to:
- O My Bag employees
- Our partner factories and suppliers
- Contractors and business partners
- Any other parties directly connected to our operations
We expect our suppliers, partners, and employees to uphold these standards. Together with them, we work to ensure safe and healthy working conditions, fair compensation, freedom of association, and the elimination of forced labour, child labour, discrimination, and harassment.
OUR HUMAN RIGHTS PRIORITIES
Through our work in the fashion industry and our long-term relationships with suppliers, we have identified the following key human rights priorities:
- Fair wages and living wages
- Safe and healthy working conditions
- Freedom of association and collective bargaining
- The elimination of forced labour
- The elimination of child labour
- Equal treatment and non-discrimination
- Respectful working environments free from harassment and abuse
We work actively with our partner factories to improve conditions where needed and support initiatives that strengthen workers’ wellbeing and opportunities.
HUMAN RIGHTS DUE DILIGENCE
O My Bag conducts human rights due diligence to identify, prevent, and address potential human rights risks within our operations and supply chain.
Our approach includes:
- Long-term partnerships with a limited number of carefully selected producers
- Supplier onboarding and annual alignment meetings
- A Two-Way Code of Conduct signed by all partners
- Regular factory visits and relationship-building
- Independent social audits (such as SA8000)
- Worker surveys and dialogue with employees
- Collaboration with local organisations and NGOs
We view due diligence as an ongoing process and continuously seek to strengthen our approach through learning and collaboration. When challenges arise, we are committed to continuous improvement through dialogue, collaboration, and responsible business practices.

GRIEVANCE MECHANISMS
We believe that safe and accessible grievance mechanisms are essential for protecting human rights. Here you can access our grievance mechanism.
Workers in our partner factories have access to several channels for raising concerns, including:
- Factory-level grievance systems
- Worker surveys and feedback mechanisms
- Direct communication channels with O My Bag
Concerns can be raised anonymously and without fear of retaliation. When issues arise, we work together with our partners to address them through dialogue and corrective action.
GOVERNANCE AND REVIEW
Responsibility for implementing this policy lies with O My Bag’s team, with active involvement from our supply chain partners.

Privacy Policy
OUR POLICY
We are O My Bag. We respect your privacy and private life, and sometimes we need your personal data. In this privacy policy, we explain which data we use and how we save, protect and process this data. This privacy policy applies to our websiteomybagamsterdam.com(the “Website”) and the services that we offer (the “Services”). We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) and, when implemented, with the relevant provisions under Dutch law. We will refer to both the GDPR and the Dutch implementation of it as the “Relevant Legislation”.
PERSONAL DATA
To offer our Website and Services, we process certain personal data. In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” refers to information or pieces of information that could allow you to be directly or indirectly identified. This definition is in accordance with the Relevant Legislation.

We may transfer the Personal Data outside the European Union (EU), if one of our Data Processors is located outside the EU. In case we transfer Personal Data outside the EU, the Personal Data will only be transferred to countries or organizations that provide an adequate level of protection that meets the EU-standards. For example, we will verify if that organization is a Privacy Shield Participant or is listed as third country whose level of protection is approved by the European Commission. The transfer of Data outside the EU will always comply with the Relevant Legislation.

You may request access to the Personal Data we process about you; You may request us to correct, update, shield or delete your Personal Data in our records. You can also ask us to limit the processing of your personal data. In the event of fraud, non-payment, or other wrongful act, we can keep some data in a register on a blacklist; You may request a copy of the Personal Data we have processed about you. We can – on your request – send this copy to another data processor, so you don’t have to send the data yourself; You may file a complaint against processing your Personal Data; You may file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you are under the impression that we process your Personal Data unlawfully; You may always withdraw your consent, as far as the processing of your Personal Data is based on your consent. HOW WE PROCESS/USE PERSONAL DATA

We use this information to create an account for you and give you access to this account. We need these data to perform our contract with you, i.e. to make an account for you and give you access to it.

We use this information to: correctly ship and address your order(s), contact you with any updates about your order or give you an overview of the orders you placed on our Website before. We need these data to perform our contract with you, i.e. to process and deliver your orders.
Payment information: Billing address and payment details
We use this information to correctly process the payment of your order. We need these data to perform our contract with you, i.e. to process your payment.
In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.

Contest information: Name, e-mail address and date of birth
We use this information to select and contact the winner of a contest. We ask for your consent to process these data.

We use this information to send you our newsletter, so you will be fully informed of (discount) offers and other relevant news. We ask for your consent to process these data. OUR STATEMENT
O My Bag does not engage in lobbying activities and does not seek to influence public policy, legislation, or political decision-making through direct or indirect lobbying.
We do not make political donations, employ lobbyists, or participate in industry lobbying groups. When relevant, we may engage in open dialogue or public initiatives related to sustainability, human rights, and responsible business practices, always in a transparent and non-partisan manner.
